Larrikin Puppeteers WILL create 'Hijabi Girl' Musical Puppets

Larrikin Puppeteers WILL be performing 'Hijabi Girl Musical' for Book Week 2020  due to wonderful subscribed support which surpassed Chuffed goal. Out of concern for younger children's understanding of other cultures, Larrikin Puppeteers are creating a musical inspired by junior novel 'Hijabi Girl' co-written by Australian author Hazel Edwards and Muslim children's librarian Ozge Alkan. Set in a mainstream Australian school with friends, food and a feisty girl who plays footy. Fun Youtube clip by Canadian puppets.
